Zamalek have been drawn to face Ismaily in the opener game of the Egyptian Premier League final round, while Ahly will play the team that qualifies out of either ENPPI or Smouha. The Egyptian Premier League final round kicks off on 29 June. "Zamalek will face Ismaily in the opening game on 29 June," read a statement on Zamalek's official website on Sunday. "Ahly will face the team which qualifies from ENPPI or Smouha on the same day," the statement added. "Zamalek will play the team which qualifies from ENPPI or Smouha in the second game as Ahly will face Ismaily," "The final round will be finished by Ahly vs. Zamalek game and Ismaily vs. ENPPI or Smouha," the statement concluded. Ahly and Zamalek booked their place in the Egyptian Premier League final round after topping Groups A and B respectively, while Ismaily came as the runners-up of Group B. ENPPI and Smouha are competing for the Group A runner-up place as the two sides have the same number of points. This season's Egyptian Premier League is played over two groups for the fifth time in the competition's 65-year history after the Port Said massacre as the winners and runners-up of each group will qualify for the semifinals. Egypt's premier domestic competition was held with the same format in the 1957-58, 1962-63, 1963-64 and 1975-76 seasons.
