Hull City are better than Watford, says Egypt's Elmohamady on final day
Pharaohs winger says that Hull City will seize the big moment to ensure their Premier League promotion against Cardiff City
Published in Ahram Online on 04 - 05 - 2013

Egypt and Hull City winger Ahmed Elmohamady believes his team played better than Watford and deserve the spot in the Premier League.
Hull City will have no other choice but to win when they host Cardiff City in Saturday's clash to earn promotion to the elite Premier League.
Any other result will pave the way for rivals Watford to reach England's top flight league, who will also need to beat Leeds United on the same day.
"We are not focused on Watford. They are a good team who play really good football but we believe we have been better than them this year," the Pharaohs player was quoted as saying by Wales Online on Friday.
"We will show everyone what we can do and hopefully that will be enough.
"Cardiff are the champions, so we know it will be a tough game but we believe we can get the three points we need to win promotion," he added.
Elmohamady was named as Hull's player of the year after producing some superb displays this term, scoring three goals and creating several others.
The 25-year-old, who joined Tigers on loan from Premier League side Sunderland, believes that his squad is ready to end the season on a high note.
"It has not been easy but that is football. It's not pressure, it's just football. Sometimes it can be difficult," he explained.
"The players and staff here are working very hard in training this week to make sure everyone will be happy on Saturday.
"It's been an absolutely fantastic season for us and we must make sure we end with promotion," he concluded.
Elmohamady's fellowman (Mohamed Nagy) Gedo, who has also impressed by scoring five goals, will not be available for tonight's match as he suffers a foot injury that could sideline him for a long time. Meanwhile wingback Ahmed Fathi could make a contribution in today's decider.
