Derek Boateng is likelyto join Fulham in the summer after the Premier League side renewed their interest in signing the Ghanaian midfielder, English reports suggested on Tuesday. The 29-year-old was close to moving to Fulham last January but the deal fell through after the Cottagers failed to agree a deal with Ukrainian side Dnipro. The Ghanaian international could now join Fulham as a free agent, having terminated his contract with Dnipro following a protracted dispute. According to Sky Sports, the English side had already secured a work permit for Boateng last January. Boateng was close to joining Middlesbrough in 2003 but the deal collapsed after the player failed to obtain a work permit.
