Egyptian government to pay 30,000 EGP to Badrashin victims
Egypt's cabinet, Armed Forces and ministry of insurance and social affairs all offer seprate payments to the families affected by Monday's train crash

Egypt's Prime Minister Hesham Qandil has ordered the payment of 30,000 EGP in compensation to the families of those affected by the Badrashin train accident.
The PM's decision on Tuesday followed an order by Nagwa Khalil, Egypt's minister of insurance and social affairs, to distribute "urgent aid" to the families affected, allocating 10,000 EGP for the family members of those killed and 2,000 EGP for those who were injured.
Egypt's Armed Forces promised compensation for the injured in accordance to their level of injury, Al-Ahram's Arabic website said.
PM Qandil offered his condolences to the families of the victims and launched an official investigation into Monday's accident.
At least 19 conscripts were killed and 120 others injured, however the country's health ministry that the death toll was likely to climb.
The train carriage derailed while en route to Cairo from Upper Egypt a few minutes before midnight on Monday.
