Egyptian writer and journalist Ibrahim Issa has been included in a shortlist of theInternational Prize for Arabic Fiction (IPAF), which was announced 9 January at a press conference in Tunis. Issa is the only Egyptian writer alongsideIraqiSinan Antoon,LebaneseJana Elhassan,SaudiMohammed Hassan Alwan,Saud Alsanousiand the TunisianHussein Al-Wad. The IPAF board of trustees also revealed the names of the Judging Panel, which is chaired by Egyptian writer and academic Galal Amin.
