18:35 In response, Ahly's die-hard supporters (Ultras Ahlawy) rushed to the hotel “to protect the visiting team” and block any attempts to prevent the Nigerians from playing the game.
18:35 The few hours before kick-off were tense after many Egyptian Premier League and second-division players laid siege to the hotel where Sunshine Stars are staying to demand resumption of domestic football activities.
