Ahly turn down an offer to play Saudi Arabia's Ittihad in Jeddah ahead of a crucial Champions League clash against Nigeria's Sunshine Stars

Ahly coach Hossam El-Badry ruled out the possibility of holding a training camp abroad ahead of the team's clash against Nigerian side Sunshine Stars in the second leg of the African Champions League semi-final, which will be played on 21 October in Cairo.
El-Badry opted to hold a training camp in Cairo, turning down an offer from Saudi Arabian side Ittihad to face Ahly in a friendly game on 15 October.
Record Champions League winners Ahly are close to reaching the competition's final after holding Sunshine Stars to a 3-3 draw in a thrilling clash last week in Abuja.
The Red Devils won the last of their six Champions League triumphs in 2008.
