Johannesburg shares of platinum producer Lonmin fell 5 per cent on Wednesday, hitting 9-year lows as striking workers began marching at its South African operations near the spot where 34 of their colleagues were shot dead by police last month.
Shares of the company briefly touched 70.50 rand in Johannesburg, its lowest since 2003 according to Thomson Reuters data.
