Getafe's Barrada proud to earn Morocco call-up
Morocco's striker Abdel-Aziz Barrada expresses his delight after being included in the Atlas Lions squad that will play against Mozambique in the African cup qualifiers

Getafe striker Abdel-Aziz Barrada said on Tuesday that he would do his best to repay the trust of Morocco coach Eric Gerets after he included him in the squad for the Mozambique clash in Sunday's African Cup of Nations qualifier.
"I am proud of this call-up. I felt great happiness when I received a phone call from a member of the Moroccan federation informing me that I would be part of the squad which will play against Mozambique," Barrada told the Moroccan football association website on Tuesday.
The 23-year-old was named in Morocco's roster following the omission of several players such as Karim El-Ahmadi, Marouane Chamakh, and Mehdi Benatia, who were all ruled out for different reasons.
"Thanks to coach Eric Gerets who is giving me his trust. I will do my best to prove that he made the right choice,'' he added.
Morocco will face Mozambique in the first leg of the final round of the 2013 Nations Cup qualifiers on Sunday in Maputo.
Barrada has made a fine start to Getafe's Spanish La Liga campaign, scoring two goals in three matches. His goals included a precious goal against Real Madrid in the team's surprise 2-1 win over the defending champions.
"I am very happy with the start I made with Getafe this season. Scoring against Real Madrid is different; I hope that I will continue at the same level," he concluded.
