Egyptian wrestler reached 84kg Greco-Roman wrestling finals of 2012 London Olympics after defeating Damian Janikowski of Poland 2-1 on Monday. The 33-year-old, who handed Egypt their last gold medal when he won the 96kg at the expense of Turkey's Mehmet Ozal in the 2004 Athens Games, defeated Melonin Noumonvi of France in the quarterfinals. Gaber will be the second Egypt's medalist in this tournament after Khaled Abouelkassem who clinched fencing silver. He will fight against Alan Khugaev of Russia late Monday.
