Hamas calls on Palestinians to rise up against Abbas
In an interview with Ahram Online, Hamas MP Yahia Moussa demands that President Abbas be put on trial for abandoning the rights of his fellow Palestinians

Senior officials in Hamas have called on the Palestinian people to rise up against the Palestinian Authority (PA) and outset President Mahmoud Abbas in the wake of Al-Jazeera's disclosure of secret documents on the negotiations between the PA and Israel.
In an interview with Ahram Online, Yahia Moussa, a Hamas MP state that “President Abbas should be tried for giving up Palestinian rights, showing his weak hand and helping Israel target and kill resistances fighters.”
He added that the information revealed by the documents is not new, as the Hamas movement has previously highlighted PA concessions to Israel on West Bank settlements and Jerusalem.
Moussa also argued that the documents showed a lack of self confidence by Palestinian negotiators when dealing with their Israeli counterparts.
“Abbas and his aides used the Islamic holy places in the West Bank as cards in their negotiations with Israel; that proves that they are not honest about protecting Palestinian rights”, he added
