Mohamed Shawky wants move away from Ahly
Ahly's Mohamed Shawky asks club not to register him for next season and either send him out on loan or sell him

Mohamed Shawky has officially informed Ahly of his desire to leave the club.
“Shawky handed a letter to the coaching staff asking to be sent out on loan and for the club not to register him on the squad list for next season,” said a statement on the club's official website.
The player called football director Sayed Abdel-Hafiz, who is currently in Germany undergoing medical treatment, informing him of his intention to leave and the later accepted his reasons.
“After consultations with manager Hossam El-Badry, the club's chairman, Hassan Hamdy, agreed not to register Shawky and he will have a meeting later with the football director,” the club's official website statement added.
The 30-year-old Pharaohs star, who has won two African Cup of Nations trophies (2006, 2008), joined the Cairo-based club in 2003 from Masry before he played for English Premier League club Middlesbrough between 2007 and 2010.
He returned to Ahly in 2010 after a short spell with Kayserispor.
The player holds a big collection of trophies and medals, including a bronze medal from 2006 FIFA Club World Cup, two CAF Champions League trophies, two African Super Cups and three Egyptian leagues.
