Shorouk bookstore in Zamalek will host Egyptian awardwinning writer, Bahaa Taher, the author of Sunset Oasis, on Tuesday 3 July, at 7pm in an open discussion.
Bahaa Taher, 77, an Egyptian writer and novelist, was awarded the International Prize for Arabic fiction (Arabic Booker) in 2008 and the Award of Merit in Literature. Taher's most famous novels are: Sunset Oasis (2007), Love in Exile (1995), Aunt Safiyya and the Monastery (1991).
