Egypt's caretaker cabinet, headed by Kamal El-Ganzouri, met Sunday to discuss a list of challenges it would be tackling before power is handed over to a government formed by new president, Mohamed Morsi.
Morsi is due to meet his caretaker government, for the first time since his election victory, later on Sunday.
The El-Ganzouri government presented its resignation to the head of the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces (SCAF), Field Marshal Hussein Tantawi, after Morsi was declared the winner of Egypt's presidential election. It is currently working as a caretaker government.
Morsi is expected to name his new prime minister soon.
Kamal El-Ganzouri was appointed prime minister by the SCAF in November 2011 and took office on 7 December 2011.
