Salah in fifth place on highest-paid football players list: Forbes

The Egyptian Liverpool legend Mohamed Salah came fifth in Forbes' list of the highest-paid football players in the world, while Cristiano Ronaldo — who re-joined Manchester United recently — was at the top of the list.
According to Forbes, Salah's total earnings are estimated at around $41 million, putting him in fifth place behind Cristiano Ronaldo at $125 million, Lionel Messi at $110 million, Neymar Jr. at $95 million, and Kylian Mbappe at $43 million.
Forbes is an American business magazine which is well known for its lists and rankings for the richest people in the world on various levels.
When it comes to the highest-paid football players in the world, Forbes takes their wages, bonuses, and commercial campaigns earnings into consideration.
The Egyptian winger is enjoying a great season opening, as he scored four goals in the first five matches of the Premier League, putting him at the top of the scoring table, he also netted his 100th goal in the league recently, becoming the fastest player to ever do so in Liverpool's history.
Salah — who joined Liverpool in 2017 — scored 130 goals and provided 49 assists in his 209 matches with the Reds, helping the team win the UEFA Champions League, FIFA Club World Cup, and UEFA Super Cup in 2019, as well as clinch the 2019-2020 Premiere League title for the first time in just about 30 years.
