Sisi affirms to Kuwaiti National Assembly speaker need for Arab coordination to face regional challenges

Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi affirmed to Kuwaiti National Assembly Speaker Marzouq Al-Ghanem on Wednesday the need for joint coordination among Arab countries to face challenges in the region, the presidency said in a statement.
This comes in light of Arab countries' huge potentials and capabilities, El-Sisi explained, as he received Ghanem in Cairo in the presence of Egyptian House of Representatives Speaker Hanafy El-Gebaly and Kuwait's Ambassador to Egypt Mohammad Al-Thuwaikh.
The Egyptian president stressed the link between the Gulf's security and Egyptian national security.
The president affirmed the special Egyptian-Kuwaiti relations and Egypt's keenness to continue developing cooperation between the two countries in various fields and at all official and popular levels.
El-Sisi also expressed appreciation for the generous care enjoyed by the Egyptian community in Kuwait and conveyed his greetings to Kuwait's Emir Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah.
Al-Ghanem affirmed his country's appreciation of the firm, historic relations connecting the two countries and hailed the Egyptian role in preserving the security and stability of Kuwait and the Arab World.
Al-Ghanem also underscored Egypt's contribution to consolidating security, stability, and development on the regional level and strengthening Arab unity.
He voiced his aspiration to develop cooperation with Egypt in various fields, especially on the parliamentary level.
Al-Ghanem also hailed the contribution of the Egyptian community in development work in Kuwait.
The meeting also discussed means to foster relations between Egypt and Kuwait in all fields and also addressed developments on the regional level.
Al-Ghanem conveyed the greetings of the Kuwaiti Emir to El-Sisi.
