A locomotive crashed into the back of a train at the Misr Station in Alexandria on Tuesday with local media reporting up to 10 injuries. Alexandria Governor Mohamed El-Sherif denied any fatalities due to the accident so far. He said most of the injuries were minor, with only two or three suffering from serious fractures. The incident comes only a day after a train collided with two minibuses near Helwan, which caused the death of at least two and injured five.
