Former Egyptian Foreign Minister Mohamed El-Orabi urged on Saturday a unified Arab action on 'fateful issues', including the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam (GERD). In televised statements, the former diplomat said Egypt and Sudan used their right to mobilise firm and broad Arab support to their stance on the GERD problem by calling for an Arab League meeting at the foreign ministers' level in Doha Tuesday. He hailed a meeting held Friday between Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman in Sharm El Sheikh as a "strong impetus for joint Arab action."
