Egypt detects 1,132 new coronavirus cases, 54 deaths on Thursday

Egypt detected 1,132 new coronavirus infections on Thursday, bringing total cases nationwide since the outbreak last year to 258,407.
The health ministry reported 54 deaths, bringing total fatalities to 14,904.
909 patients have been discharged from hospitals nationwide following recovery in the past 24 hours, bringing total recoveries to 189,476.
