Mali and Nancy midfielder Bakaye Traore is set to join Italian giant AC Milan this summer as a free agent after his contract expires in June. "I'll join AC Milan on a three-year deal – it's incredible," Traore told radio station RMC on Tuesday. "I couldn't say it before, because the team was in the middle of the competition." The 27-year-old midfielder has been a key element for Nancy in the Ligue 1 this season, scoring five goals in 20 matches. He had recently been linked with a move to the Premier League, but couldn't resist the offer from AC Milan. "I'm signing with one of the biggest clubs in the world," he said. "There will be fierce competition for places, which is only natural, but I will also have an opportunity to grow further." The Malian midfielder will be the third African player in the Milanese squad, alongside Ghanaian duo Kevin-Prince Boateng and Sulley Muntari, both of whom have given solid Serie A performances.
