A military plane took off from an airbase in east Cairo on Thursday loaded with large quantities of medicines and medical equipment provided by the Ministry of Health to Libya, the Egyptian Armed Forces said. The decision to send medical aid to Libya came upon the directives of President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi to mitigate the suffering of the Libyan people. The Libyan side expressed appreciation for the efforts exerted by Egypt to support the Libyan people. This is the second time in April Egypt has sent medical aid to Libya.
