Egypt's President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi is set to receive Lebanon's Prime Minister-designate Saad Al-Hariri at Cairo's Ittihadiya Presidential Palace on Wednesday, Presidential spokesperson Bassam Rady said. Al-Hariri was named premier for a fourth time in October after his successor stepped down following the massive 4 August explosion in Beirut's port, caused by thousands of potentially explosive chemicals that had been stored in a warehouse there for years. He has pledged to quickly form a new government of specialists that would enact reforms and stop the country's economic collapse. Al-Hariri is set to meet a number of Egyptian officials during his visit to Egypt.
