Zamalek will play home game outside Egypt if fans are banned
The Cairo giants have warned they may play their upcoming home game against Moghreb Fez of Morocco outside Egypt if they are not allowed the support of their fans at the game

A Zamalek official revealed that the club's management are discussing playing their home game against Moghreb Fez of Morocco in the 16th round of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) Champions League outside Egypt in case they are ordered by security officials to hold the game behind closed doors.
"We will play our African Champions League home game against Moghreb Fez abroad if the security insists that we hold it behind closed doors," a Zamalek official told associated agency MENA on Friday.
"Zamalek's supporters have the right to watch the game from the stadium, especially after the two-game ban has finished," the team representative added.
The Cairo giants side were ordered to play their previous two African games behind closed doors due to a sanction imposed on Zamalek by the CAF following crowd riots in last season's game against Tunisia's Club Africain at Cairo Stadium.
Following the February Port Said club disaster, which left at least 74 fans dead and hundreds injured, the interior ministry refused to secure football games in Egypt and ordered Ahly to play their 16th round qualifier against Ethiopian Coffee without fans.
Zamalek, who last won Africa's premier club competition in 2002, are set to face Moroccan side Moghreb Fez in the first legof the CAF Champions League on 26, 27 or 28 April; the second leg will be played during the first week of May.
