The Muslim Brotherhood will nominate its number two man Khairat El-Shater to run for the presidency of Egypt, said a leading member of the Islamist group. MB called for a press conference at 8.30 pm to announce the news. The leading member, who attended a meeting of MB Shura (consultation) Council, told Al-Ahram Arabic Gate that the decision was taken by a fragile majority of 56 votes against 52.
