Egypt will reopen restaurants, coffee shops and sporting clubs and will shorten a nighttime curfew imposed to limit the spread of the coronavirus to begin at 12 am starting Saturday, Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly said. In a televised speech, Madbouly announced new preventive measures, lifting a closure since March of cafes, restaurants and clubs, yet reopening the facilities at a reduced capacity of 25 percent in the first phase of reopening. Cafes and restaurants will be allowed to reopen until 10 pm, with shops closing at 9 pm.
