An official from Ahly football club, Hady Khashaba, revealed on Monday that the club's board has accepted an offer from a Spanish agency to play a friendly game against Liga side Getafe on 11 Aprilin Sudan. "We accepted to play against Getafe. The date of the game and the location are fully appropriate for Ahly," he said. The Egypt champions will start their campaign in the CAF Champion's League on Sunday 25 March with an away game against Ethiopian Coffee in the first leg of the competition's round of 16. The second leg will be played two week later in Cairo. Khashaba added that the club's board are still discussing a sports marketing company's offer concerning a friendly game against Zamalek at London's Wembley Stadium, in hopes of raising fans' spirits in the wake of the Port Said disaster in which over 70 Ahly fans were killed.
