Market Update: Egypt stocks up 1.8 pct mid-Thursday

Egyptian stocks are extending their gains on Thursday, the benchmark EGX30 up 1.8 per cent at 5,182.3 points nearly halfway through the week's final four-hour trading session.
The broader index EGX70 is also following the northern direction, up 1.5 per cent.
Of the day's nearly 150 listed stocks, more than 80 are making gains.
