Tribeca Enterprises joined hands with YouTube in preparing for a major online film festival which will take place between 29 May and 7 June, screening films online for free. Titled 'We Are One: A Global Film Festival', the initiative brings together movie programmes curated by many major international festivals including the Tribeca Film Festival, Sundance, Berlinale, Cannes, Venice, Toronto, San Sebastian, Mumbai, Marrakech, and BFI London Film Festival. The films will be screened on the We Are One YouTube channel for free, and will include movies representing a variety of genres including feature films, documentaries, and shorts from the festivals' unique repertoires. The programming details will be revealed by each festival in the coming weeks. With screenings provided for free, the audience will be invited to make donations to the World Health Organisation (WHO) and the local organisations which work in the coronavirus relief effort.
