The Kuwaiti health ministry said on Wednesday that it has recorded 27 new coronavirus cases among Egyptian nationals in the country, according to Kuwaiti official news agency KUNA. Twenty-one Egyptians have contracted the virus from cases that had been identified previously, the health ministry said. Six others are currently being observed to determine the source of their infection, it added. The Egyptians are among 168 new coronavirus cases registered in the country over the past 24 hours. Last week, the Gulf country announced that a total of 109 coronavirus cases had been discovered among Egyptians in the country. Kuwait has recorded 2,248 confirmed coronavirus cases, with 13 fatalities.
