Sporting Braga striker Ahmed 'Kouka' Hassan will not be available for Egypt's opening two games in the African Nations Cup qualifiers after undergoing a knee surgery on Wednesday. Egypt will host Kenya on 14 November before facing Comoros away from home four days later. Kouka was among six foreign-based players called up by Egypt coach Hossam El-Badry for the two games. Braga announced on Wednesday that the player will be sidelined for around six weeks. The 24-year-old has 25 international caps, scoring five goals. He has scored only one goal in seven appearances with Braga so far this season.
