Egyptian winger Salah out of Liverpool squad for USA tour

Egypt's star winger Mohamed Salah has not been included in Liverpool's 28-man squad for the team's upcoming tour in the United States as he continues his vacation after the recent exit of the Pharaohs from the African Cup of Nations.
Hosts Egypt suffered a shocking elimination from the African Cup of Nations round of 16 after conceding a late goal against South Africa on 6 July.
The 27-year-old Salah, who participated in all four of Egypt's matches at the African Cup and scored two goals, has not yet joined the Premiere League side amid reports that he was given a three-week vacation by his coach Jurgen Klopp.
The former Chelsea and AS Roma winger is expected to join Liverpool's preparations for the new season starting from their next camp in France.
Senegal's star midfielder Sadio Mane was also missing in Liverpool's travelling squad for the USA trip after guiding his national team to the African Cup final, which will be played against Algeria on Friday.
According to Liverpool's official website, the Reds will depart for America on Tuesday morning, with Indiana being their first destination ahead of a friendly with Borussia Dortmund at Notre Dame Stadium on Friday.
The team will then move on to Boston, where they will face La Liga side Sevilla at Fenway Park, and later end their trip by facing Sporting CP at Yankee Stadium in New York.
Salah ended last season as the Premier League's joint top scorer with 22 goals, helping Liverpool end the competition in second place behind champions Manchester City.
