Egypt has condemned the terrorist attack on a hotel in the Somali city of Kismayu, killing 26 people and injuring 56 others, said a statement by the Foreign Ministry on Sunday. Cairo also offered its sincere condolences to the Somali government and the victims' families, wishing a speedy recovery for the wounded, the statement added. The government of Egypt stands shoulder to shoulder with the Somali government and people in this plight, the statement read. Egypt will continue supporting the Somali government to rebuild the state institutions and achieve security and stability in the east African country, the statement noted.
