Kenya's high court unanimously upholds ban on gay sex
Published in Ahram Online on 24 - 05 - 2019

Kenya's high court on Friday upheld a law banning gay sex, which means same sex relations are still illegal and punishable by 14 years in jail in the conservative East African nation.
"We hereby decline the relief sought and dismiss the combined petition," Justice Roselyn Aburili said, relaying the unanimous opinion of the three-justice panel.
"We find that the impugned sections are not unconstitutional, accordingly the combined petitions have no merit."
