2pm Culture Café – Tahrir testimonies, featuring Zein Abdel-Hadi, the newly-appointed head of the Egyptian National Library and Archives, who was present during the time of Tahrir sit-in 3pm Guest of Honour Hall 3 – Debate on Publishing and The Arab Spring, the discussion intends to give a taste of the readers high expectations vs. the capacities of the publishing industry that suffered over the long years of dictatorship 4pm Creations Tent – Discussion of the new novel, House of Fire, by Mahmoud El-Wardani. El-Waradani is the winner of Sawiris Cultural Award 2011 and is a regular contributor to Ahram Online Books 5pm Creations Tent – Discussion Naguib Mahfouz's celebration book, 100 Writers and Authors for Mahfouz Centennial, on the 100-year celebration that took place in December. Organised by the Coalition for Independent Culture, it aims to share insights from its guest writers and authors 6pm Creations Tent – Testimonies of novelist, featuring renown Egyptian writer and novelist, Youssef Al-Kaeed, telling personal stories that tie-in with history
