Liverpool star winger Mohamed Salah has been able to maintain his exceptional form, according to Man City's Raheem Sterling. “He's been exceptional. It's how you maintain it. And he's maintained that perfectly and that's a credit to him,” Sterling was quoted as saying by Express. After his low-scoring start of the 2018/2019 season, Salah netted 14 goals and made six assists in all competitions, thus helping the Reds sit first in the Premier League and reach the Champions League round of 16. Sterling, the one-time Liverpool star and England International winger, expressed big admiration for his former team. “They're a great team, great players, not just the forwards but they are solid at the back,” he said. Liverpool are currently 4 points clear of Man City at the top of the table. Sterling stated that the strength Liverpool had shown so far would make the competition more exciting. “It's a credit to them what they have done this season and that makes it even better for the league. We have got these strong competitors like Liverpool and Chelsea, otherwise it would be boring,” Sterling concluded.
