CAF Super Cup to be played in Qatar in rare move

The annual African Super Cup will be staged outside the continent for the first time after CAF announced on Wednesday that it will be played in Qatar.
CAF said during its executive committee meaning that the match, traditionally played at the home of the Champions League winners, will take place in the tiny Arab Gulf state. It did not specify a date for the fixture.
Tunisia's Esperance, who won the African Champions League after beating Egyptian giants Ahly in the final, will meet Morocco's Raja Casablanca, who clinched the Confederation Cup title at the expense of DR Congo's Vita Club.
Ahly are the record winners of the African Super Cup with six titles, followed by fellow Cairo side Zamalek and DR Congo's Mazembe with three each.
