VIDEO: Smouha paid price for Ahly-El-Entag ref mistakes, says coach
Smouha coach Shawky Gharib says match official favoured Ahly in Saturday's clash to make up for ref errors in the Cairo giant's match against El-Entag

Smouha coach Shawky Gharib has blamed the referee for his side's 3-1 defeat against Ahly on day-14 of the Egyptian Premier League season.
“I am not that sad – this is football – but I feel disappointed for my players who suffered some really poor refereeing decisions,” Gharib told a TV program after Saturday's match.
The Alexandrian team came from behind when Samuail Afouam equalised at the end of the first half. Then in the 72nd minute referee Mohamed Abbas awarded a controversial penalty that gave Ahly the lead again, five minutes before Tarek Hamed was sent off for a second bookable offense to leave Smouha struggling in midfield. Mohamed Nagy “Gedo” ended Smouha's chances with a third goal near the end of the match.
“Smouha paid the price for the referee's mistake in Ahly's match with El-Entag El-Harby,” added Gharib, referring to the poor referring decision that allowed an El-Entag goal that was clearly offside to stand against the Cairo giants on day-13 of the season.
In the other camp, Ahly football director Sayed Abdel-Hafiz praised his team: “Our players were determined to win and clinch the three points,” he said.
Ahly, who are bidding for their eighth successive league title are currently second in the table with 30 points, one behind leaders Haras El-Hodoud.
