Egyptian champions Ahly would take on Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup winners Ittihad Jeddah in an Egyptian-Saudi Super Cup match scheduled to take place in Cairo on 27 November, Egyptian Football Association (EFA) have announced. Early this month, Egypt's Cup winner Zamalek secured a 2-1 win over Saudi champions Al-Hilal in Riyadh to claim the Saudi-Egyptian Super Cup title. "We are working to have a successful game in Cairo between Ahly and Ittihad Jeddah, following in the footsteps of the Saudi-Egyptian Super Cup in Riyadh early this month," read a statement by the EFA "EFA confirm their co-operation with their counterpart in Saudi Arabia," the statement added.
