Egypt's assistant coach Hany Ramzy seems not worried about the injury of the team's star Mohamed Salah who was stretched off eSwatini game on Friday with a muscle injury. The Liverpool winger lay on the ground holding his groin muscle. He left the game leaving his team with only 10 men on the pitch as coach Javier Aguirre had already done his substitutions. “It doesn't look serious. I think it is only a muscle strain but he will undergo medical scans to determine the length of the injury” Ramzy said after the game. Salah is expected to be left out of Egypt's next game against eSwatini on 16 October. After Friday's 4-1 win, Egypt moved to the top of Group J with 6 points following a brilliant first half display. Ramzy said that the main reason behind the modest performance in the second half is the exhaustion of some of the players due to their continual participation with their teams. “We had a chance to secure a historic win and we stressed on that during the break but the fatigue of a number of players was an obstacle in the second half,” the 49-year-old coach added. “Our main target was the three points to maintain our situation in the group because reaching the Nations Cup is one of our priorities.
