Egypt climb up one position in FIFA's September global rankings, Ghana make the worst move

After smashing Niger 6-0 in the 2019 African Cup of Nations qualifiers (CAN 2019), Egypt have moved up one place in the FIFA monthly rankings for September to become 64th globally.
The Pharaohs played their first game after the 2018 World Cup finals against Niger, beating the Menas 6-0 in the 2019 African Cup of Nations qualifies two weeks ago.
Egypt ranked 10th in Africa and third among Arab countries after Tunisia (24) and Morocco (46).
Tunisia, who jumped one position this month, top the African rankings while Senegal became second among African countries.
Egypt, who are second in Group J of the CAN 2019 qualifiers with 3 points, made it into the world's top 10 when they won three successive African Cup of Nations trophies in 2006, 2008 and 2010.
Belgium jumped one position to top the world rankings while France ranks second and Brazil are third.
In other highlights from the September rankings, Ukraine made the biggest move after climbing 6 positions to place 29th in the world rankings, while Ghana made the worst move, after losing 6 positions.
