Egypt's Coptic Pope Tawadros II congratulates Muslims on the advent of Eid Al-Fitr, visiting Al-Azhar's Grand Imam Shiekh Ahmed Al-Tayyeb at his headquarters in Cairo on Monday. Al-Tayyeb welcomed the Coptic pope and the church's delegation at Al-Azhar mosque, praising the special and unique ties between Muslims and Christians in Egypt. Pope Tawadros said that solidarity and unity among Egyptians, especially on holiday celebrations, has become a constant value of the Egyptian society. Muslims in Islamic countries around the world are set to celebrate Eid Al-Fitr religious holidays on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Eid Al-Fitr first day marks the end of Ramdan, the Islamic holy month of fasting.
