Market Update: Egypt stocks edge up 0.31% on Wednesday
Day's trading dogged by second-round parliamentary polling; Daily turnover falls to mere LE133 million

Egypt stocks gained slightly on Wednesday with the benchmark EGX30 index rising by 0.31 per cent to close the session at 3,981.7 points.
The day's trading was dogged by the kick-off of the second phase of Egypt's first post-Mubarak parliamentary polls, which pushed total daily turnover down to an uncharacteristically low LE133 million.
