Redknapp looks to make Adebayor's loan deal permanent
Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp wants to sign on-loan Manchester City striker Emmanuel Adebayor on a permanent deal
Published in Ahram Online on 11 - 12 - 2011

Harry Redknapp revealed again his desire to bring Manchester City Togolese striker Emmanuel Adebayor on a full-time deal especially after City's boss Roberto Mancini confirmed that the player has no part to play in City's future.
The Togolese striker arrived to Tottenham last summer on a season long loan from Manchester city and he produced a string of fine with the Spurs, scoring seven goals in 11 matches.
"I've enjoyed having him here. He's been as good as gold. He's not been a minute's problem. He just gets on with it. He's an important player for us and he knows that. He's been here 11 games and we've won 10 and drawn one so you certainly can't complain about the start he's had here,'' Redknapp was quoted as saying by Sky sports
‘'He's done great for us. He gives us loads of movement when he plays, and he's a real handful." He added.
The 27 year-old striker had also revealed he is keen to make his loan move from Manchester City to Tottenham permanent but the difficult point on the deal could be Adebayor's £170,000 a week wage, which goes against Tottenham's wage policy of limiting players to £70,000 per week.
"I would like him here full-time. It would be difficult, but we like him.'' Redknapp concluded.
