Forecasters at the Egypt Meteorological Authority expect colder weather and rainfall in most parts of the country next week, as a brief stint of unseasonably warm temperatures is expected to begin easing on Sunday. The current warm spell will peak Friday and Saturday, with the high in Cairo set for 31 degrees Celcius, the head of the Meteorological Authority, Ali Abdel-Aal, said in TV remarks on Wednesday. Temperatures will begin to gradually drop on Sunday, with chances of heavy rains and possible thunderstorms in several parts of the country on Monday and Tuesday, including along the North Coast, the Nile Delta cities, Cairo, the northern part of Upper Egypt and central Sinai, Abdel-Aal added.
