iProductions has revealed exclusive screen stills to promote the new film ِAyar Nari (Gunshot), directed by Karim El-Shenawy and starring Ahmed El-Fishawy and Ruby. The film is set for release this year, though a final date is yet to be announced. Two photos feature the film's stars, El-Fishawy and Ruby. In one, the pair are seated in a simple coffee shop, and the other reveals El-Fishawy examining a cadaver in a morgue. "Gunshot follows a mysterious murder that connects the destinies of the protagonists and changes their beliefs about the concept of truth," revealed the marketing and film distribution company MAD Solutions in its official press release. Co-produced by Film Clinic (Mohamed Hefzy), Gunshot also stars Mohamed Mamdouh, Arfa Abdel-Rassoul and Asmaa Aboul El-Yazeed along with guest stars Ahmed Malek, Hana Shiha, Bayoumi Fouad, Ahmed Kamal and Safaa El-Toukhi. Gunshot is written by Haitham Dabbour and is director Karim El-Shenawy's debut feature-length film after a series of award-winning short films. El-Shenawy also worked as a first assistant director on many feature films, including Clash (2016), directed by Mohamed Diab, and Nawara (2016), directed by Hala Khalil.
