Preview: Zamalek eye third straight league win against under-achieving Enppi
Published in Ahram Online on 28 - 09 - 2017

Zamalek will be looking for their third win in a row when they host third-from-bottom Enppi at Cairo's Petrosport Stadium on Friday.
Having overcome a resilient side in Hossam Hassan's Masry 2-1 last week, the Cairo giants will be looking to build on the vital league win against Enppi this time around.
The petroleum club, however, do not quite seem the same imposing side of the past, managing just a single point in three league games.
And with the positive displays they have been providing so far under Montenegrin manager Nebojsa Jovovic, Zamalek are clear favorites to beat the once-resilient league rivals.
A host of summer-signings had a positive impact on the Whites' performances in the league so far this season, with the acquisition of midfield duo Ahmed Daouda and Mohamed Ashraf helping them move the ball forward easily.
The Enppi defense are also likely to struggle much with the trickery and liveliness of forward duo Ahmed Madbouli and Abdallah Gomaa; another two summer-signings that helped transform the team's attack.
Zamalek should welcome Egypt center-back Ali Gabr after making his long-awaited comeback from injury, given the shaky displays of defender Mohamed Magdi in the three previous games.
Playmaker Ayman Hefni, however, continues to miss out due to injury, alongside newly-signed striker Benjamin Acheampong who has yet to make his Zamalek debut.
Zamalek, who aim to get back to the winning podium this season, are currently fifth of the league table with two wins and a single draw.
