Zamalek's new coach Nebojsa Jovovic says he is looking to employ an attacking strategy for all matches in the new season, adding the team should reflect the strength of club chairman Mortada Mansour. "I have my own vision for the team and the technical staff, and I also have decisions ready," the Montenegrin Jovovic said at the press conference on Tuesday where he was unveiled as the Whites new coach. "We don't have enough time before the new season, but this will not affect us negatively. The coach should always take the right decision at the best time, because football is just like life; every day you have to face new challenges," said the 43-year-old coach, who signed a two-year contract with Zamalek. Zamalek had limited time to find a replacement for the sacked coach Augusto Inacio, with the Egyptian Premier League scheduled to kick off early next month. Jovovic won the coaching seat at Zamalek after he helped Jordan's Al-Faisaly reach the Arab Championship final early this month in a remarkable campaign that saw his side defeat Egypt's famed club Ahly twice. The White Knights have been on a downward spiral since winning the domestic double in 2015, with fans blaming the constant managerial changes for the team's failure to succeed in the past two seasons, where arch rivals Ahly won the title both times. "There are two important solutions for rebuilding the team. Firstly, we need to spread positive energy among the team, which I managed to do with Al-Faisaly in just six months," the new coach declared. "Zamalek's character should also be strong like the one of the club's president Mortada Mansour. "I know that Zamalek is a big team and that Egypt is a big country, and I will do my best to please the fans," he concluded. Zamalek have had 15 coaches since the election of Mansour as president in 2014, including Mido, Hossam Hassan, Portuguese Jesualdo Ferreira and Scottish Alex McLeish.
