Morocco international striker Walid Azaro says he would prefer to join Egyptian giants Ahly, despite having received some offers from European clubs. "Yes I have received offers from Europe and especially from France but I prefer the offer of Ahly that is more interesting," Azaro was quoted as saying on Moroccan website Les Lions de l'Atlas. Ahly have revealed their interest in signing the 21-year-old attacker and it is believed they are in advanced talks with his club Difaa El Jadida. The deal could be finalised in the next few days as Morocco have a crucial 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Cameroon on Saturday. "When I got the offer, I immediately informed the club's directors of my will to join Ahly. I know that this big club will open the door for new horizons," he added. Ahly coach Hossam El-Badry has made Azaro his top priority this summer to replace departed Ivorian striker Souleymane Coulibaly.
