Designer Vera Wang is planning to launch a full make-up and beauty line for spring 2012. The new cosmetics collection will include make-up and skincare as well as bath products and beauty accessories, and will be sold in the US exclusively through stores owned by the label's licensing partner, Kohl's Corp, and online at KOHLS.COM.
Despite already having a successful range of perfumes, including Vera Wang Signature and Vera Wang Princess, this willbe Wang's first foray into cosmetics.
Speaking about her new eponymous beauty line, Wang told WWD, "I will now be able to offer women all over America my own personal regimen for skincare and make-up. Like fashion, make-up is also transformational. I love the artistry of make-up to accentuate, enhance or create a mood for any time of day or occasion".
The label has also just signed Gossip Girl actress,Leighton Meester to be the face of its - as yet untitled - new perfume, which is due for release next summer.
