Ahly coach Hossam El-Badry has praised the performance of South African side Bidvest Wits ahead of the two teams' game in the CAF Champions League round of 32 on Saturday, saying he has studied the opponent well and ensured his players are fit for the game. "The game against Bidvest in Cairo is important as it will decide the teams' future in the tournament," El-Badry was quoted as saying on the club's official website. "Bidvest is an organised team but we have studied them well and we will try to make use of their weak points during the two-leg game," El-Badry said. Ahly will begin its African Champions League campaign on 11 March against the South African side, who defeated Saint-Louisienne 4-3 in the preliminary round on aggregate. The Cairo giants will participate in Africa's most prestigious club tournament directly from the round of 32 as the Egyptian Premier League title holders. Ahly currently lead the Egyptian League table with 52 points after playing 20 games. Record eight-time CAF Champions League title-holders, Ahly last won the tournament in 2013 after beating South Africa's Orlando Pirates 3-1 on aggregate in the final.
